Architectural & Engineering Specifications

Streamline the Proposal Development Process

As a critical part of a winning proposal, Architectural and Engineering – A&E Specifications provide detailed technical information for products used in an AV system design. As an aid to consultants and system designers, Extron offers A&E Specifications in an industry-standard format to streamline the drafting of your next proposal.

A number of Extron products, including the XTP Systems®, DTP Systems, PoleVault®, and FOX Series product lines, offer A&E Specifications that are designed to allow copy-and-paste addition of key product information into your proposal documents. To simplify the process of exceptional system design, product information is structured to a recognized system of numbers and titles that is common for construction document organization. Use of structured text allows project proposals and bids with Extron products to be compiled faster and more economically.

To access a product's specification, simply log in, select the product, and click on the A&E Specifications link to view the information in a pop-up window. A click of the Copy Text button ensures that all data is available for pasting directly into your documents.

Extron A&E Specifications help with:

  • Organizing bid information
  • Identifying contract requirements
  • Refining system specifications
  • Assembling drawing notes

A&E Specifications are being made available for products on a regular basis. Look for the A&E Specifications link on select Extron product Web pages.

In addition to A&E Specifications, Extron provides a number of resources for architects, consultants, and design engineers to aid in the development of AV presentation systems. These include CAD drawings, cut-out templates, block diagrams, and AutoDesk Revit architectural files for three-dimensional modeling.
