Overview

The Extron VCM 200 EU is a wallplate that provides remote volume and mute control of select Extron power amplifiers or mic preamplifiers with a remote volume control port. It features a rotary volume control that provides smooth, precise volume levels and a dual color, illuminated soft touch button for muting. Three captive screw connectors on the back panel provide quick and easy connectivity without soldering. The VCM 200 EU is compatible with Flex55 and EU modules, mounting kits, and enclosures. It is available in white and includes a wall frame and mounting bracket.

Provide an EU style wallplate that includes remote volume and mute control of select power amplifiers or preamplifiers with a remote volume control port
1. 55 mm x 55 mm button panel with an included adapter frame that mounts in a standard single size European electrical junction box with 60 mm mounting centers for the purpose of remotely controlling volume and mute of connected audio amplifiers or preamplifiers.
  1. Button Panel Requirements
    1. Shall have one rotary encoder knob to control the audio level
    2. Shall have one dual color, illuminated pushbutton for muting
  2. System Requirements
    1. Shall provide a continuous gain control for fine adjustment of volume
      1. Shall support a reference voltage 10 VDC
      2. Shall support 0 VDC to 10 VDC variable voltage, positive logic
    2. Shall provide a mute control
2. Shall include a momentary push switch with latching contact closure during mute
3. Shall include an LED mute indication
  1. Shall allow powering via an external device being controlled
  2. Shall include power and signal connections via 3-pole captive screw
4. Mounting Requirements
  1. Shall support mounting directly in a wall, lectern, or other flat surface
  2. Shall mount in a standard single size European electrical junction box with 60 mm mounting centers with an included adapter frame.
5. General Requirements
  1. Shall include a white wall frame and a mounting bracket
  2. Shall meet regulatory compliance under CE, c-IL, UL, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, and VCCI
  3. Shall provide three years parts and labor warranty
